Ordering a lab test from LabsMD is simple and secure. The following is an outline of the lab ordering and fulfillment process.
First, select a Patient Service Center (the lab where your specimen is collected) in your area. You can search by zip code using our Lab Locator.
Once you select a Patient Service Center, purchase the desired lab test(s) from our secure website or via telephone. Click here to start shopping online or call us toll free at 888.952.2763
Once your requisition has been created and posted to your order, you will receive an email containing a link to the secure patient portal to access your lab requisition papers. After printing your lab requisition papers for testing, you may proceed to the Patient Service Center selected during the ordering process for specimen collection. Appointment requirements vary by location, please verify the location selected allows walk-ins prior to going to the lab for specimen collection without an appointment..
Please call or email us if you do not have access to a printer and need the lab requisition papers faxed to the lab. Any special instructions pertaining to your test(s) will also be included in the communication accompanying your requisition for testing.
Once your lab tests are complete, LabsMD will notify you via email notification that your lab results are ready to view and provide you with a secure link to view and/or download your results. If your results are abnormal, we advise that you seek professional medical attention.
Orders via telephone may be placed between 8:00AM - 4:30PM (Eastern Time) Monday - Friday.
Online orders placed after 4:30PM (Eastern Time) during weekdays and Saturday, Sunday and holidays will be processed on the next business day.
