The Male Ultimate Checkup is our comprehensive unisex testing package with the addition of the Prostate Cancer Profile, TSH and Testosterone Total LC/MS/MS (Total only) tests.

This testosterone test will also provide Total Testosterone results when the value is >1500 but <10,000.

Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.

Please Note: If this panel is ordered by a female, due to ordering restrictions on certain tests, the PSA test will not be included on the requisition and will not be performed.

Urinalysis, Complete Profile: Color; appearance; specific gravity; pH; protein; glucose; occult blood; ketones; leukocyte esterase; nitrite; bilirubin; urobilinogen; microscopic examination of urine sediment.

Patient Instructions: Patient should fast for 12-14 hours before collection of the specimen. Specimens should be collected in the morning since iron values decrease by 30% during the course of the day and there can be significant interference from lipemia. For accurate test results, no ejaculation during the 24 hours preceding the test. If using a testosterone cream please be sure you have not rubbed any into the antecubital area of your arm for the last 24 hours as it can give elevated results.

Estimated turnaround for results is 5 business days. If confirmation testing is required, the estimated time may be extended.
