The Glucose Test is used to monitor blood glucose level for patients who may have diabetes, low blood glucose (hypoglycemia) or high blood glucose (hyperglycemia). Serum glucose levels may be abnormally high (hyperglycemia) or abnormally low (hypoglycemia). Glucose measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of carbohydrate metabolic disorders including diabetes mellitus, idiopathic hypoglycemia, and pancreatic islet cell neoplasm.

A significant deviation from the normal range may require further evaluation by your physician.
